Visiting the Alantic Ocean

Our "shadow family" photo has become a family tradition for us since our military tour in the mid-west. This was the first one with CC!

The water was pretty darn cold so the kids had fun playing in the sand!

Traveling Across The North East

Our first sight of the Niagara Falls. A cool photo of a tour boat with a rainbow overhead.

At Horseshoe Falls

The Niagara River (prior to Horseshoe Falls)

We spent an extra day on our journey east to see Niagara Falls. It's such a cool place to visit! The last time I visited the Falls was back in 1990 when "School Girl" was 6 years old (same age as SP on his first visit). Spiky Doo had a great time taking photos with his camera. Both SD and Crazy Cakes were able to stick their toes into the Niagara River prior to reaching Horseshoe Falls.

Saying Goodbye to Friends

Our wonderful church friends and their super cool kiddos!

CC & SP with Taylor and Brady. The first friends we met after our move to the mid west 3 years ago. Brady is SP's best buddy!

Lauren is SP's good friend from pre-school and kindergarten.

It's always hard to say goodbye and move on every couple of years. It's one of the pitfalls of being a military family. We had a wonderful time and made wonderful memories in the mid-west. We hope to see our dear friends again! Love you all! :)

Currently Without A Home

It's sad to see our house so empty! We are currently without a home. :( We're heading to the northeast in a couple of days for my husband's new military assignment. We're driving there in 2 cars, with our 2 kiddos and a puppy dog. We're taking our time so we're stretching our drive over a 3 night/4 day period. I don't think my kiddos can handle more then 6 hours a day stuck in the car and not drive their poor mom crazy! Did I mention they're riding in my car (and not in my husband's) for the entire trip north! :P
